So, Aki and I were talking about making fried rice next week (I think she’s never eaten fried rice before, the horror!) and I said I would put pictures of Kotetsu and Barnaby on my screens and set the table and offer them my fried rice. And I’d take a picture of it and post it because I’m a derp like that.
And then we thought that why not get more people to join?
To join the Sternbild Friend Rice Event for the final episode, go and be a true Hero in the kitchen and cook your own fried rice (you can practise first if needed), bake Samantha’s cake, make some tea the way Yuri likes it, get some Pepsi (Nex if you can, whatever they sell where you live if you can’t – I’m stuck with Pepsi Max), or cook up whatever other creative Tiger & Bunny related food you can think of. And then just take a photo of your meal with your favourite T&B character(s)! (In this style.)
You can send us pictures any time during the next week, but because I know some people won’t cook until for the final episode you have until Monday September 19th 12:00 CET (noon) to email us the photos to ThisIsSternbild[at]gmail.com. You can also take part via Twitter, event hashtag is #friendrice and you can tweet your pictures to @ThisIsSternbild. Feel free to include a short comment or description if you want.
We hope we’ll get a lot of pictures! We can’t friend rice the staff & cast of Tiger & Bunny in person, so this is our way of telling all of them how much we love the show. We’re collecting all the pictures into a post here at This is Sternbild and we’ll pass the link to it to executive producer Ozaki.

Contemplating on whether I should have it with mayonnaise to honor Kotetsu.
Go for it. I happened to order some Japanese mayonnaise last month so I’m going the mayo way with mine.
I’m so going to participate! Any size limits for the picture? Photos can be quite large…
Also, trying to get a couple of others to take part too since they’re into show. Nothing better than showing your love through casual T&B event.

To clarify, we aren’t taking cosplay photos, just photos of food and the characters in this style. ^^
Could you clarify that in the post itself by posting an image? I linked it to some of my friends but we were confused about what “your meal with your favourite T&B character” was supposed to mean.

Not everyone is a cosplayer or comfortable putting their pictures online like that. Doing the event this way will allow many more people to take part.

But what about those who can only watch the new episodes on Sundays at afternoon or later due to not being able to watch streams? We might be late for the deadline.
You have all of Sunday to send in the photos, and you can also take part by cooking earlier during the week and taking your photos then.
Even though Sunday is Sunday, there is a lot of university stuff that has to be done ) Perhaps, it’d be indeed wiser to cook the meal earlier.
I’ll probably take my picture earlier during the week, too. I gotta practise my fried rice. ^^

Ok, lovelies, I have a super interesting question, let’s say I’m crazy and goes a bit overboard (which everyone knows I do on a daily basis) I’ve been thinking about it all day, and, in the end, my head thought fried rice wasn’t good enough, so, my originally planned fried rice and a bit of carrot cake became a full course meal.
Can I send 3 pictures in? Or do you prefer one (reasonnably sized) tryptich?
Or do you have any other suggestion?
You can send in 3 pictures as long as they meet the guidelines, or combine them into a triptych. If you send them separately I may combine them myself, depending on how big they are.
My camera takes SUPER huge pictures.

I’d love to make the fried rice, as it’s one of the only things I can cook, but I live in a dorm. I guess I’ll settle for the tea instead, haha.
This will be my first weekend at university, so cooking this will be me be cooking for myself for the first time!

Joined in, went to work today dressed as Kotetsu and went out to Dinner with a friend. Basically we just went all out and got fried rice/cake/Pepsi Max/ Perrier and tea. For Yuri.
Waaaaaaaay more fun than we thought it would be and we caught episode 24 again. Luckily, did not season food with tears.

Really wishing I could do this! Sadly, I’m not one to do these things alone (especially since I can’t normally cook on my own). None of my Tiger & Bunny friends live in the same state/Country! A sad daaay!

It was my first time making fried rice! My heart hurts so much right now but I knew this day would come! I sent my offering to usatora.
Wow gonna do this super last second and like with really lame food because I can’t cook at college, and I failed to be lucky with the cafeterias’ food this week. I kept checking to see if they’d somehow have fried rice… ah well.
