“Mikire sakura” by Origami Cyclone (Okamoto Nobuhiko)
I don’t really think the sample is giving a very good impression of the song, or it’s just not really up our alley. Lyrics on the other hand sound very Origami-style. Full version might give a different impression.
“Todoroke☆Kung-fu Master” by Dragon Kid (Ise Mariya)
Cute like a button, and peppy, but we expected something more energetic. I think there might be more in the lyrics so full version would be nice with this song too.
“No Farewell” by Barnaby Brooks, Jr. (Morita Masakazu)
The song title made me expect something a bit more melancholy (and so did Twitter trolls going on about “Bunny’s feelings” – I can’t remember if it was Ozaki who tweeted that or if it was Hoshizora Sunrise). This song seems really fitting with how the series ended, and Morita sounds happy and hopeful singing it. The song also has this kind of 80s feeling, it’s hard to explain but I got pretty nostalgic listening to the sample.
“You are the HERO!!” by Tiger & Barnaby (Hirata Hiroaki and Morita Masakazu)
We didn’t think it’d be possible for the new duet to come anywhere near “Seigi no koe ga kikoerukai”, but this does. Hirata and Morita sound really good singing together, the lyrics sound like fun, and it just gives this “feels goodman” vibe.

… I am so in love with that duet right now! And so afraid the rest of it will be mediocre!! Here’s a hoping it won’t be! And I would love it to have dual-meaning lyrics like the first one!
And I totally expected something else for Barnaby’s song! [it’s not bad – just unexpected.]

Oh god, I never thought it was possible, but judging by the sample THEY FUCKING DID IT. THEY MADE IT HAPPEN.
We should know better than to underestimate these guys, THEY CAN MAKE RAINBOWS HAPPEN.

This is just a further proof that Tiger and Barnaby bring out perfection TOGETHER. But gosh, Barnaby’s solo… the things it does to my chest.
I love all these songs. Especially the duet. Would it be weird to say I am falling for this series all over again because of this CD? x)

i personally don’t think that the Hero song surpassed Seigi in any way, the song is very 90’s, while Seigi’s very modern. The songs which i liked the most would definitely be Saito & Ben’s Hero Suit song, Lunatic’s, and surprisingly the “Girl’s Team” song. it’s unfair that Fire Emblem doesn’t have his own song!
Can’t argue tastes. I am really partial to 90’s music (I was teenager back then) so I love the new duet and also Blue Rose’s new song.
I agree, Fire Emblem should have his own song. Ozaki said on Hoshizora Sunrise radio that he wants to make another character song CD and Fire Emblem should get his turn then.
i’m not against the 90’s anime music because like you, i grew up with them as well, and it’s very nogalistic since the songs have been made with an adult demographic in mind. but in comparison, i felt that Seigi sounded better, and Hirata’s Wild song took a big level up from his previous Sanka image song as well, which is awesome.
yeah, it’s only my opinion, no hard feelings, i can’t argue tastes myself 😛
