Listen to HERO RADIO On Lantis Site
Hoshizora Sunrise launched a new HERO RADIO corner on Sunday on FM NACK5. Hosted by Morita Masakazu, more or less as Barnaby Brooks Jr. You can listen to Hoshizora Sunrise through Keyhole TV, but for once we have a possibility to listen to HERO RADIO in good quality, because Lantis is streaming it.
To listen, go to the HERO RADIO page on Lantis site and pick your stream. If you’re not sure what your connection can manage, pick the 32K one – but very likely you can use the 64K one. It will open in Windows Media Player. I’m not sure if there’s a way to make this work on a Mac. Mac users, you can stream this with VLC. (Thanks, TeamKaburagi!)
The first episode of HERO RADIO features – among other things – ad-libbed songs about fried rice, and gratuituous Baningrish (Morita says Barnaby doesn’t speak English or Engrish, but Baningrish).
Morita is quite a personality, and I thought HERO RADIO was incredibly fun to listen. He did go pretty far out of character at times, though… It’s worth checking out even if you don’t speak Japanese, just for the ridiculous amounts of Baningrish.
(Thanks to @Mineko_TB for the tip on the radio!)
Our Favourite T&B Things
Thank you, and again thank you to all who took part in our little celebration for a year of Tiger & Bunny! We didn’t get as many princess carries as we expected, but Figuarts are really popular judging from the photos.
I think that Tiger & Bunny will always remain a special thing for us. After it ended, we noticed that it had changed the way we view anime. We’ve also met a lot of great people through the fandom, from all over the world. The community that has developed around the series is wonderful, and you rarely see such dedication to support a series – I am of course talking about our shared desire to own everything that the merchandise producers put out.
Thank you, everyone, for sticking with us up to this point! Here’s to the next year – and hopefully many more after it – with Tiger & Bunny and all our T&Bros! Good luck with the preorders tomorrow, and with those that are still looming in the horizon!

Pre-order News: Triple Threat Battlefest
Not a week has passed since the battle for Wild Tiger MG Figure Rise and once again we have an announcement from Tamashii Nations regarding the upcoming pre-orders for Chibi-arts Barnaby Brooks Jr., S.H.Figuarts Lunatic, and Half Age Characters set. The pre-orders will open on April 3rd at 16:00 JST as usual. I don’t think I need to say how hard this battlefest is going to be with three “Do Want” items going up at the same time.
S.H.Figuarts Lunatic
Lunatic’s figuarts comes with some great accessories – a set of flames for his eyes as well as his hands, and a flaming crossbow. The crossbow can also be folded and placed in his holster. His cloak also seems to be removable. Lunatic is going to be a standard release retailing for 4,725 JPY with a July release date.
Chibi-arts Barnaby Brooks Jr.
Barnaby’s chibi-arts will include: At least two different facial expressions (tsun-tsun face & smiling winking face), and his pink birthday bunny. I am still checking various sites to get more information regarding his packing and price. The most current information that I have been able to obtain is that Barnaby is expected to be released in July.
Half Age Characters Vol.1
The Half Age Character box vol. 1 will include five characters: Kotetsu T. Kaburagi, Barnaby Brooks Jr., Ivan Karelin, Karina Lyle, and Nathan Seymour. The Half Age Character line portrays the characters younger than their actual ages. The box will include 10 figures. There has not been information yet if the second set will be a different color variation or a double. Each individual each Half Age Character will retail for 525 JPY. The box will be released in July.
Is everyone prepared for this triple threat battlefest? I will have my GOOD LUCK mode armor on and my finger ready for the repeat F5 attack. One thing is for sure, this battle is going to be very tough.
Review: Deformeister Petit Set
I was able to snag a set of Bandai’s Deformeister Petits which was released back on October 26th, 2011. This adorable set comes with all eight of the heroes from Tiger & Bunny in chibi forms. Now let’s take a look and see if they’re a hit or a miss for Bandai.
